Like the threads it is worked in, this sampler always brings back soft and faded memories for me. Curled up on the window seat in my bedroom, I stitched this piece while I was expecting Peter. Sometimes I can still feel the wonder of my soul caught with needle and thread. Worked on 32 count creme linen in either mauve or blue silk, natural perle cottons and DMC floss, this piece is wonderful for the advanced and adventurous stitcher alike. This kit includes instruction for an old-fashioned sampler made up of graceful bands of cross stitch, blackwork, assisi, hardanger, kloster, hemstitching and pulled work. Size 7" X 18".
