This sweet piece was designed for a weekend in Nantucket. The whitework section is a throwback of the creamy pinafores the children of the 1800's used to wear to harvest the cranberries. Cranberry Pinafore begins in creams and works down into soft shades of cranberry and rose. This sampler is stitched on hand-dyed Apple Brown Bindy fabric and is a delight to stitch.
